About us

Family house where my grandparents lived, which has gone through different generations to become La Vall de Silvestre. The name comes from my great-grandfather, it is a way to endure it.

The house is completely new, decorated with an antique air reminiscent of the old farmhouses. Apartments for 4 or 5 people located in Mas de Barberans (Tarragona), are conditioned to enjoy the most pleasant of rural stays but without losing any comfort. A quiet village of only 450 inhabitants located in the foothills of the mountain, it is a natural viewpoint of the sea of olive trees of the regions of Montsià and Baix Ebre, with the Delta de l'Ebre in the background.

At 2 km we find the entrance to the Parc Natural Dels Ports, with 18km of track where we can choose different routes. We can admire such beautiful places as the natural reserve of La Fageda, the Cova del Vidre, Mont Caro, Casetes Velles, Barranc de la Vall, etc.

Monumental trees such as Pi Gros and Pare Faig. Being bordering the province of Castellón we are only 15 km from the Tinenza de Benifassà, where we find the convent of Santa Maria de Benifassà, the Ulldecona reservoir and villages as endearing as El Ballestar or La Pobla de Benifassà. At 40km we find the beaches of Delta de l'Ebre, La Ràpita and Alcanar.
